2026 FAEA Awards Program Overview
The Florida Art Education Association presents annual awards to recognize individuals within the membership who have achieved the highest level of professionalism in art education and to show appreciation for individuals or organizations who have contributed their services in an exemplary way to the association and to the professional goals we share. The FAEA Awardees will be honored during the 2026 FAEA Annual Conference and recognized in Fresh Paint magazine, on social media, and on the FAEA website.
Nominator Instructions
Nominate a deserving colleague or organization you believe should be recognized for their contribution to art education. Self-nominations are welcome!
- Check the Criteria: Review the Awards Descriptions to ensure your nominee meets the specific requirements for the award category.
- Write a Brief Statement: Prepare a short explanation of why your nominee is qualified for the award.
- Submit Your Nomination: Deadline for nominations is June 1, 2026.
Nominee Instructions
Individuals or organizations nominated for an FAEA Award will receive an email with instructions to submit the following:
- Completed Curriculum Vita Form
- One letter of recommendation, signed and scanned to a PDF file
- A high-quality headshot photograph
- A short bio describing education, positions held, and major accomplishments
- NAEA ID Number if they are a member of the National Art Education Association
The FAEA Awards Committee will screen the nominations for eligibility. Current FAEA Board of Directors are not eligible for an FAEA Award.
Deadline for nominations is June 1, 2026.
