Fresh Paint Production Notes
Article and art submissions are always considered and must be submitted on or before the deadline for each issue as stated in the Editorial Calendar and Submission Deadlines to info@faea.org
All articles must be provided in digital format (e.g. Microsoft Word) with an accompanying hard copy. All applicable fonts and images must be provided. Images must be at least 300 dpi resolution at 100% of the size.
Printing Specifications: Fresh Paint is printed using offset lithography. Interior text pages are printed on 70lb coated enamel stock using black ink only , the cover prints on 100# coated text using 4 color CMYK Process.
Color: All color will be reproduced using four-color process. Advertisers may indicate a specific PMS color to be matched with four-color process.
Trim Size: 8.5 x 11 inches
Bleeds: Allow for 1/8 inch for any artwork that bleeds
Special Position/Premium Page: Guaranteed special placement requests are considered on a space-available basis for ads half-page or larger at an additional fee of $25 per insertion. Inside Front Cover, Inside Back Cover, Outside Back Cover are guaranteed with the price of the ad and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Inside guarantees must be page specific (e.g. facing President's page, facing table of contents, etc.) Due to design and layout considerations, placement guarantees cannot be made for "front 1/2 of magazine," "far forward," etc. We will make every attempt to honor such requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.
Acceptable Electronic Formats: Preferred ad format is either as composite High Resolution or Vector-Based PDF, Tiff, or EPS with all fonts outlined. Our production department is Mac-based and uses the following programs: Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Ads must be in a format that can be read by one of these programs. All applicable fonts and images must be provided. Images must be at least 600 dpi resolution at 100% of the size. Ad art should be submitted by email to info@faea.org. Files too large to email may be submitted through Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.com.
