2025 Member Virtual Exhibition

The purpose of the Member Virtual Exhibition (MVE) is to provide the opportunity for members to participate in a statewide, juried competition of their peers. FAEA proudly sponsors this exhibition to foster and encourage our members as working artists, and we celebrate their accomplishments! All jurors are professionals in the visual arts field with expertise in the evaluation of artwork for exhibition.

Artwork Submission Guidelines & MVE Overview

2025 Member Virtual Exhibition Rules & Eligibility:

• Artwork entered has been produced in the past two years
• Artwork that has appeared in a previous Member Virtual Exhibition is not eligible for submission
• Artist's name and/or signature should not be visible on the submission
• Participating artist must be a current FAEA member
• Cost per entry: $15
• Maximum number of entries per member: 5
• Entry categories:
  • Full Active Member - K-12 Art Teacher
  • Full Active Member - Supervisor, Higher Education, or Museum & Cultural Organization 
  • Retired Member

Artworks for the Member Virtual Exhibition are juried on a sliding scale. Works that are accepted for the Member Virtual Exhibition are scored based on the demonstration of excellent intention, use of materials, and technical ability to create expression within the artwork. The composition is original, imaginative, and inventive. The work as a whole addresses complex visual or conceptual ideas with excellent success.
