2024 Annual Conference

We hope everyone who was in Hurricane Milton's path is safe, and our thoughts are with those of you experiencing severe damage. We have heard from the conference host hotel, and they are now fully operational after Hurricane Milton. Power and internet have been restored, and other than some minor leaks and flooding in a few rooms, the building suffered no major damage. Many restaurants and businesses in the area are planning to open either today, this weekend, or by Monday. The Museums in that area are planning to open on Monday as well. The Tampa Airport is open, and all major bridges into St. Pete have been inspected and opened. 

Therefore, the conference WILL proceed as planned.  

If you were affected by the hurricane and, therefore, no longer able to attend, please email val@faea.org to request a refund for your registration.

Presenters should email josh@faea.org if you need to cancel your session or workshop.

*Collegiate Eligibility: must be a full-time college or university student with a Collegiate FAEA Membership, not teaching in a K-12 school. 

**Non-teaching Guest/Spouse attendees are permitted to attend all Art Forum, Demonstration, and General Sessions, the Exhibit Hall, and receptions with their registered attendee, but not Workshop sessions. To participate or attend the extended hands-on workshop sessions, they must register themselves under their own FAEA membership or as a Non-Member attendee.

Conference Registration Refund Policies

1. Full registration refunds are available for cancellation requests made through September 24, 2024.
2. No registration refunds will be made for cancellations made after September 24, 2024, except for emergency situations. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Refunds must be requested in writing (email to val@faea.org)
4. Emergency-related requests for refunds must be received no later than November 12, 2024. Requests received after that date will not be processed.
5. All refunds will be issued after the conference is completed.
6. Silent auction, raffle tickets, special event tickets, and membership fees are all non-refundable.
