Membership FAQ
Q: When does my FAEA membership begin?
A: As soon as FAEA processes your payment you are eligible for all FAEA benefits. All memberships are active from July 1st to June 30th. However, if you join or renew after March 31st, your membership will be active until June 30th of the following year.
Q: When can I expect to receive my first issue of Fresh Paint, the FAEA Newsletter?
A: Because Fresh Paint is published quarterly, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery after sending your payment.
Q: How many issues of Fresh Paint will I receive with a one-year membership?
A: You will be mailed one issue per year (fall) and emailed two digital issues (winter and spring/summer) issues and you will receive one printed issue at the annual conference (conference).
Q: When does my FAEA membership expire?
A: June 30th of each calendar year. If you join or renew after March 31st, your membership will expire June 30th of the following year.
Q: What should I do if I move while my FAEA membership is still active so that I can continue to receive FAEA mailings?
A: Register your change of address with your local post office and log into your FAEA member account at Member Login and edit your personal information.
Q: How do I get information about the annual FAEA Conference?
A: The fall edition of Fresh Paint will provide you with all of the conference information. This edition is mailed at the beginning of August each year. Also, conference information is listed FAEA.org under Conference.
Q: When I join FAEA, am I also a member of the National Art Education Association?
A: No, though the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) is an affiliate member of NAEA, you will have to join NAEA through a separate membership.
Q: Does FAEA sell or rent its member list?
A: No.
Q: Can I cancel my membership and get a refund?
A: No, membership dues are non-refundable at this time.
