Scott Evans to Begin as CEO of CFAE and Board Consultant of FAEA on March 9, 2026

The Center for Fine Arts Education (CFAE) is proud to announce that Scott Evans will assume the role of President and CEO of the June Hinckley Center for Fine Arts Education and Board Consultant of the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) on March 9, 2026.

“Our extensive national search attracted a diverse field of exceptionally talented arts leaders—a testament to the high standard of excellence in Florida’s arts education community,” said Dr. Harry Pardee, Florida Music Education Association President and CFAE Board Chair. “Mr. Evans’ background as a classroom teacher and district administrator, paired with his proven success in motivating teams across the public school and non-profit sectors, makes him the ideal leader for this pivotal role.”

Mr. Evans brings over 30 years of experience as a music educator and arts supervisor in Florida, along with leadership experience as Executive Director of the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts. “Leading the Center for Fine Arts Education is a profound honor,” Evans shared. “I look forward to partnering with our state’s professional arts organizations to empower young creative minds and the amazing teachers who guide them as we work together to shape the future of arts education in Florida.”

The Center for Fine Arts Education is a management company specializing in providing management, finance, planning, and advocacy services to nonprofit associations focused on arts education. The professional staff at CFAE provides the Florida Art Education Association with general management, financial services, membership management, database administration, web development, conference planning and support, and publication services.
