The Center for Fine Arts Education
(CFAE) is a management company that specializes in providing management, finance, planning, and advocacy services for nonprofit associations focused in arts education.
The Center for Fine Arts Education (CFAE) was incorporated on October 20, 2005. The CFAE was created to allow arts education organizations cost effective access to high quality professional administration.
The professional staff would like to provide the Florida Art Education Association with general management, financial services, membership management, database administration, web development, conference planning and support, and publication services.
The CFAE provides an extended range of expertise in association management and arts education.
Kathleen D. Sanz, PhD
Kathy has been with CFAE since 2011. As the President and CEO, she is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the company. She serves as the Board Consultant for FAEA. Kathy earned her PhD from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the National Art Education Association, American Society of Association Executives, and the Florida Society of Association Executives. She currently serves as the President-elect for the National Association for Music Education.
Director of Operations
Val has been with CFAE since 2003. As Director of Operations, she is responsible for contract management and various other duties of FAEA. Val received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida A&M and a certification in Organizational Management through the Institute for Organizational Management (a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) at Villanova University. She is a member of the Florida Society of Association Executives where she serve on the Education Committee and the American Society of Association Executives.
Business Manager & Account Executive
Richard has been with CFAE since 2011. His is responsible for the financial oversight and program management of FAEA. Richard earned a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, a Master of Arts Administration from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Florida Society of Association Executives where he serves on the Sponsorship Committee, Education Committee, and YP Task Force.

Kathryn has been with CFAE since 2014. She is responsible for publication management and member services. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Florida State University. She is a member of the Florida Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives.
